With the holiday season upon us, wrapping paper is a unique way to express your sense of style while decorating for the season. Apparently, a lot of people say “Wrap it up, I’ll take it”! More than $2.9 billion dollars is spent annually on wrapping and accessories. Designing wrapping paper should be in my business plan apparently… that would be good for my paper addiction too. Here are a few of my favorites, and a small preview of how I wrapped presents this year!
Classic combo, black and white striped ribbon, kraft paper, round tag, and finished off with some holly!
Black paper with twine, topped off with gold stars made with a sharpie marker. This is a fun project to do with your kids to get the whole family involved in wrapping.
A clean and simple motif with a little manilla tag, white paper, bakers twine, and a little sprig.
As a vintage kind of girl at the core…and yes, I am proud of it! Old things that remind me of Christmas with my mother and Grandparents, make them feel closer for some reason. As a baby born on Christmas Day, many of my birthday gifts were wrapped in paper like the vintage ones above. This year, I came across a vintage inspired paper and paired it with a beautiful ,red candy striped paper, that was perfect for the theme I planned for my gifts. Old cigar boxes found at an antique store several months ago, started the planning for my holiday wrapping theme.
Let the festivities begin!
Buffalo check tissue, of course!
Bakers twine with Custom labels made on Avery.com.
I will wrap it up by saying, Happy Holidays and thanks for following us through this amazing year! Hard to believe that next month will be a year in business. Dreams do come true, if you believe!
